Good to know
Will it drain my battery?
No. Roamlight doesn't keep GPS running. It listens for the low-power signals iOS already produces when you arrive somewhere or move a meaningful distance, which is why it can run all day without you noticing.
Can anyone else see where I've been?
No. Your history is stored on your iPhone and in your personal iCloud account. We don't operate servers, so we have no copy of it and no way to see it. Your map is only shared when you choose to share an image of it.
Do I need iCloud?
No. Without iCloud, your map simply lives on your iPhone. With iCloud turned on, it syncs across your devices and moves with you to a new phone.
Something on my map is wrong. Can I remove it?
Yes, and it's always free. Your Travels › Manage lists your map as named places, and you can remove any of them. Photo imports can also be undone in full.
Can I add trips from before I installed it?
Yes. Import from the locations in your photos for free, or with Roamlight Plus, from a Google Maps Timeline export or by adding places and flights by hand.
Is there an Android version?
Not right now. Roamlight is built for iPhone.
